What makes you yourself?
I’m both a corporate survivor and a cancer survivor, and it’s my experiences with both that propelled me out of my “safe” career into the entrepreneurial unknown. It’s a journey I began in 2011, and I haven’t stopped smiling since.
Can you tell us about Talent Boost and what excites you most about your work?
Talent Boost is an executive leadership advisory helping organizations expand without losing their best talent since 2013. We offer strategic consulting, organizational assessment, think tank facilitation, and executive coaching to purpose-driven companies. I get the honor of serving clients who genuinely want to be better, as leaders and as organizations. I have reached a point in my career and business where I can curate the clients I serve, and I intentionally partner with purpose-driven leaders who want to expand their businesses without losing their best talent.
How do you approach change?
Every time I pivoted in my career or faced a challenge I didn’t see coming, I had a choice of how to view and handle it. I chose to meet it with curiosity and see what I could learn from it.
"Talent isn’t born; it’s boosted. Life is too short not to play full out, to do what you're passionate about, and to spend as much time as possible with people who make you better. "
