Congratulations! As the winner of the BASA Awards®, what does it mean for you and your team to receive this distinction?
Winning this award is both an honor and a powerful source of motivation. It reaffirms that years of dedication to supporting small and migrant-led businesses have created real, meaningful impact. This recognition strengthens our belief that purpose-driven consulting can influence not only business outcomes but also people’s confidence and personal growth.
For our team, the BASA Award represents trust and credibility within the wider business community. It signals that New Journey 365 is a values-based partner entrepreneurs can rely on for clarity, strategy, and direction. Most importantly, it inspires us to keep expanding our reach; empowering even more founders to start, grow, and reinvent with confidence.
Do you have a mantra or motto that you live by?
I believe there is always a solution to every challenge. When we stop allowing fear to control our choices, we create space for growth. Fear is something we construct in our minds; it only becomes real when we give it power. My mantra is simple: believe in yourself, stay calm in the face of uncertainty, and keep moving forward with clarity and courage. Every problem has a way through; it simply requires patience, strategy, and faith.
Tell us about your first job
My first role was as a Sales Trainee Manager at a Japanese life insurance company in Vietnam in 2007. As a fresh graduate, it was an intense and demanding start, but it taught me invaluable lessons in discipline, communication, and persistence. Most importantly, it shaped my understanding of people. The sales and relationship-building skills I developed during that time continue to influence how I connect with clients, build trust, and create impact in my work today.
What are you currently occupied with?
I currently work as a Business Consultant and Market Entry Strategist specializing in trade facilitation between Australia and Vietnam. I support businesses expanding across borders through strategic planning, partnership development, and market positioning. My focus is on bridging cultural and commercial gaps between Australia and Vietnam, empowering entrepreneurs, SMEs, and investors to grow sustainably and confidently in both markets.
What excites you most about the work that you do?
What excites me most is witnessing transformation. Seeing clients take small, confident steps that lead to long-term change reminds me why I do this work. Every milestone, from a first sale to a major expansion, reinforces the power of clarity and the right support.
Helping migrant and multicultural entrepreneurs grow, gain confidence, and build sustainable businesses energizes me every day. Their successes feel deeply personal, proof that with guidance, belief, and strategy, anyone can create a future they are proud of.
