Terms for the public vote phase of the Best of Australia Small Business Awards campaign organized by BBSA Pacific.

These Terms (the Agreement) represent an agreement between the Organizer (BASA Pacific) and you, the Participant in the public vote phase of the Best of Australia Small Business Awards campaign.

Please review the Agreement in its entirety prior to clicking one of the options above.

I. Basic Definitions and Terms 

Upon the interpretation and application of the present Terms the used herein basic definitions and terms shall have the following meaning:

Organizer: BBSA Pacific

Campaign: Best of Australia Small Business Awards - a campaign organized by BBSA Pacific

Participant: any person that uses their Facebook, LinkedIn, or Google social login to participate in the public voting phase.

Website: the official page of the Campaign is available at www.basawards.com

II. Participation in the public voting phase

In order to participate in the public voting phase of the Campaign, the Participant must log in using their Google, LinkedIn, or Facebook social profile. 

The Participant can vote only for one nominees for the Campaign. The vote for a nominee is given by clicking the “VOTE NOW” button below the nominee logo profile.

III. Data Privacy and Processing

The Organizer collects the name and email of the Participant for marketing purposes. If at any time you choose not to receive notifications you may do so by sending your request to awards@basawards.com or simply use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of an email.

The Participant agrees to have their name and email collected and processed by BBSA Pacific as well as The Organizer's sub-processor - cloud computing company MailJet Inc. for data storage and email deliverability.

The Organizer and its sub-processors strictly apply the respective measures for the processing and protection of personal data in accordance with the Global Data Protection Regulation. No personal information of a Participant shall be publicly disclosed, shared, or sold to a Third Party. Personal data may be disclosed if required by Law Enforcement Authorities.

Data is to be kept for 5 years for the purpose of keeping updated records and data about the Campaign. 

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to other parties.
